Licheng Enterprises Recognized in Quanzhou’s 2023 List of Technical and Industrial Design Centers

Recently, Quanzhou released the 2023 list of municipal-level Enterprise Technology Centers and Industrial Design Centers. Among the honorees, the Technology Center of Fujian Tianzhong Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. was recognized as a Municipal Enterprise Technology Center, while the Industrial Design Center of Qixing Electric Co., Ltd. was named a Municipal Industrial Design Center.

Founded in 2009, Fujian Tianzhong Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise and a key reserve enterprise for listing in Fujian Province. The company holds 65 patents and 16 independent brands. Its technology center, established in 2010, currently employs 40 researchers and has developed 15 self-initiated R&D projects in the past three years. Several inventions—such as an automotive engine vibration damping mount, a method for producing integrated rubber cores, and a dynamic durability testing device for automotive bushings—have been successfully commercialized, generating both strong economic returns and social benefits.

Qixing Electric Co., Ltd.’s Industrial Design Center currently has a team of 18 designers specializing in mechanical manufacturing, electrical automation, and computer technologies. The center includes divisions for product design, technical testing, quality management, and technical services. By the end of 2022, it had successfully designed and launched products such as ring main units and cable accessories, achieving revenues of over 550 million yuan and delivering remarkable economic results.

Licheng District has long placed strong emphasis on building enterprise innovation centers, introducing supportive policies to enhance independent innovation, R&D capacity, and the integration of industrial design with manufacturing. To date, the district has established 8 provincial-level enterprise technology centers, 1 provincial-level industrial design center, 3 municipal-level enterprise technology centers, and 4 municipal-level industrial design centers.
